Information
The following information includes requirements for building, scheduling, submitting and paying for your ad.


Pre-Printed Inserts
Items for insertion must be no larger than 8" x 10". Single sheets must be printed on 70# text weight paper stock or heavier. We offer printing services for customers who wish to produce their own materials for insertion. Prices are quoted on the basis of quantity and number of ink colors.


Specifications
Ads should be submitted electronically on CD or via ftp. PDF files are preferred. PDFs should be press optimized with fonts embedded. Ads may also be submitted as native QuarkXPress, InDesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator or Freehand files as long as all associated font files and linked images accompany the native file. Please package all files into a .zip or .sit file if sending via ftp. Ads built in Illustrator or Freehand should have type turned to outlines. Images should be prepared with newsprint and its corresponding dot gain and total ink limits in mind. Be sure images are of sufficient resolution for output at up to 120 lpi. Images should be placed as grayscale for spot-color and grayscale jobs or as CMYK for process color jobs. Make sure there are no RGB images or graphics in your layout.

Borders: A border is required on all display advertising. Ads which do not have borders will be reduced in size,if necessary,to accommodate a border. Bleed pages are not available.


Cancellation
Notice of cancellation of a scheduled ad or a change in the publication date for an ad must be received in writing before the material deadline. Ads cancelled after the material deadline will be billed at the original price ordered.


Liability
Good News Advertising is liable for error of our composition only to the extent of credit or correct rerun of the ad or affected portion. Credit is allowed for the first insertion only. Notice of error must be given in time for the correction to be made in a subsequent issue.


Content Approval for Ads
All display ads and inserts are subject to prior editorial approval.
