One of the fastest growing consumer markets is the Catholic Christian population of the greater Dallas area: now 26.3% of the area is Catholic —more than 854,000 people. More than 140,000 persons in 54,000 households read the Texas Catholic, most of whom live in populous Dallas and Collin counties. However, the coverage area encompasses the Texas counties of Grayson, Fannin, Hunt, Rockwall, Dallas, Kaufman, Ellis and Navarro.

The Texas Catholic is the third largest newspaper in the area in press run, the second largest in paid circulation and the largest in home delivery by U.S. mail. Readers of the Texas Catholic are major consumers; most dine out 5 or 6 times a week, travel for both business and pleasure, buy late model cars, shop widely, own their homes and purchase major household items, and are interested in the latest innovations in technology.

More Catholics in North Texas read the Texas Catholic than any other single publication. Advertisers can reach up to 64,000 households with special inserts. The Texas Catholic goes into homes by second-class postal delivery on a biweekly basis.

The Baptist Standard is the newsjournal of Texas Baptists and is affiliated with the 2.4 million member Baptist General Convention of Texas. Published every two weeks in tabloid format, the Standard reaches leadership in the 5,500 churches and missions across the state. Additionally, many churches provide it for their members and church leadership. The total circulation is more than 100,000 paid subscribers.

Total readership is more than 230,000. 27 issues are published per year. Texas Baptists make a valuable contribution to the people of Texas. Currently, they operate eight universities, three theological schools, five hospitals, three childcare homes and six retirement centers located throughout the state. Also, many Baptist churches operate K-12 schools for their communities. Because of its 116-year history, the Baptist Standard is highly regarded and trusted as a source of news and inspiration for Texas Baptist churches and families.

Founded In 1847, The United Methodist Reporter is the fifth longest continuously published periodical in the country. Published by UMR Communications, a nonprofit printer/publisher, the weekly Reporter, and its biweekly companion, The United Methodist Review, remain primary vehicles of denominational communication among Texas Methodists. These award-winning publications are recognized as major sources of international religion news and provide a trusted forum for United Methodist opinion about faith issues. As such, the Reporter and Review are regularly read and relied upon by more than 400,000 pastors, leaders and members of churches, conferences and agencies.
